National Cadet Corps (NCC)
An Introduction

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is India's premier youth organization committed to fostering discipline, leadership, and a spirit of national service among students. Established under the Ministry of Defence, NCC provides structured military training alongside opportunities for character development, civic engagement, and personal growth.
Through its diverse activities—ranging from camps and parades to community service and adventure expeditions—NCC instills values of responsibility, resilience, and patriotism. Cadets gain firsthand exposure to leadership roles and team-based learning, preparing them for future roles in defense services, civil society, and public administration.
At the institutional level, NCC serves as a dynamic platform that nurtures well-rounded individuals—empowered, socially aware, and deeply committed to building a stronger, united India.
